The upcoming American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Annual Meeting is a great example of such a beneficial relationship. AAN and AES have had a long and positive partnership and AES will be very visible at this year’s AAN Annual Meeting. AES, through the AAN Epilepsy Section, has had the opportunity for several years to present two “subspecialty in focus” sessions at AAN and this year is no exception. Sessions on “Treating the New Onset Epilepsy Patient” and “Future Therapies: How We Will Be Treating, Preventing and Curing Epilepsy in 2015” will feature content first presented at the AES Annual Meeting, and allow our member specialists to reach the wider general neurology audience
